Ashlynn at Birthday Party 29 Aug '09

We attended Renise's first birthday party held at Bakerzin at Millenia Walk. Ashlynn was kinda grumpy as she missed her morning nap, so she was not her usual self. In fact, she didn't want walk on her own, kept demanding to be carried. She was entertained by the nice balloon decor though.

We rushed off for her LNT class shortly after the cake cutting. Cannot afford to miss another lesson as she has already missed last week's lesson due to her fever.

Lesson was good as she could follow most of the activities. We brought 3 presents for her to give to her 3 teachers at LNT for Teachers' Day. After the class, we shopped around for my student's brithday present as I will be dropping by at his birthday party tomorrow. We settled for dinner at the Kopitiam foodcourt. I ordered a bowl of porridge to share with Ashlynn but kenna rejected. I ordered a bowl of white rice to mix with the porridge (which she takes sometimes), also kenna rejected. Lucky I brought her cereal along so had to make that for her to eat. She is really a picky eater. Want to introduce her to a variety of food but she is not ready to accept. Yet she seems to be sick of her usual porridge at times.

When we reached home, she also drank a few sips of her milk and then drifted off to dreamland. Recently, we wonder what happened to her milk intake. She seemed to be totally swtiched off in drinking milk. I guess it is yet another phase.
