Happy Birthday Mummy! 21 May '09

One more year to the big "3"! Dunno isit because this is the last year of my 2xth birthday, I had quite a number of celebrations. The most touching and unexpected celebration is from my ex-4As. I was also very happy that my current form class surprised me with 3 birthday cakes of different flavours. This is indeed one of my most unforgettable birthdays (given that daddy was away on reservist).

Busy Busy Weekend 16 - 17 May '09

Had to go back to school in the morning as I forgot to bring the marking scheme for the exam papers home. After that, I met up with Sherry to attend a Clarins workshop. I rushed back to fetch Ashlynn from granny's place and we went home to rest.

Set off for LNT class at 3pm and after the class, we joined our pals at Downtown East for gathering. Daddy went for route march so only joined us later in the evening. Ashlynn, being her active self, was kpoing around the chalet. I can see that she enjoyed herself. After the chalet, we went for supper with Wendi and family and by then Ashlynn was tired and cranky. I got frustrated and everyone can sense it. Lucky daddy took over and pat her to sleep. We went home totally burnt out.

I woke up quite early to rush my marking. Daddy was supposed to take over the duty of looking after Ashlynn for the day. However, I still cook and feed her plus bathed her (actually daddy ah, seems like I still doing bulk of the work hor?) Nonetheless, with daddy's help, I managed to finish my marking before we go out for our romantic dinner to celebrate my birthday. We sent her to granny's place then we proceeded for dinner at Kushinbo. Haha... Not any fancy restaurant but this place was chosen by me as I quite like Jap food. After dinner, daddy said he wanted to go back there for his birthday as he enjoyed the food very much. We shopped around before calling it a day.

Birthday Celebration - Round 1 15 May '09

The usual clique met up to celebrate my upcoming birthday at Thai Acent at Vivocity. We didn't bring ashlynn along as we were both coming from work. Daddy and I suddenly felt that we were like pak-toring as we were able to hold hands. With ashlynn around, we seldom or in fact never hold hands as one of us will be carrying the baby, the other carrying the diaper bag.

Happy Mummy's Day! 10 May '09

We had a simple celebration for Mother's Day. Daddy treated me to this restaurant called Fish at Tampines 1. After that, we bought a cake back to granny's place to celebrate with them.

Fun Time at the Zoo! 09 May '09

Came to realise I am able to get free passes to the zoo so I popped by at MOE on Friday to collect them.

Daddy and I were so excited over a trip the next day.On Sat morning, we woke up early to prepare our "luggage". Quite a lot of things to bring including extra sets of clothes, towels, her usual foodstuff etc... By the time we reached the zoo, it was already 11am. It has been some time since we went to the zoo. We can see a significant difference in her reactions. This time round, she enjoyed herself more as she was able to walk around and appreciate the environment. The weather was also quite good compared to the last time we went.

Overall, it was a fun and fruitful trip.
