First Family Trip to KL Day 1 - 20 Dec '08

We set off early in the morning at 6.30am. Ashlynn woke up at 5.30am and crawled around the house, sat in the middle of the living room to do her "ole ole" action (will try to take down video of it if she does it again). She might have sensed the excitement that has been building up.

There was a slight jam at both checkpoints. Along the journey, she slept, woke up, fussed to be carried, played and needed to be fed. We stopped for a couple of times to relieve ourselves as well as to feed ashlynn. There was a part where she actually slept one hour plus when we were travelling along the highway. So everyone got to take a break from entertaining her. Actually it's more of me and granny.

We reached Crowne Plaza Hotel at almost 2pm. After settling down, we proceeded to our high class shopping for the day. We visited the KLCC where we got to see the Petrona Twin Towers and next to Pavilion, a new upclass shopping mall. Dinner was at Madam Kwan's. We had a hard time feeding ashlynn. Recently, she has not been coorperating during our meals, needing lots of attention. Haiz... Other than meal times, she was fine.

We didn't buy anything as branded stuffs were cheaper in Singapore.

On the first day there, ashlynn was sulky and seldom smiled. Very unlike her usual self. She also had this signature look. Later on there are a couple of photos with that signature ya-ya look. I think she is trying grind her newly-sprouted upper tooth with her lower teeth. But when we returned to the hotel at 9ish, she was all happy again as she got to roam about the king-sized bed and her cot.

She didn't sleep well at night. I guess she was not used to the new environment. After we moved her to sleep in between us, she was ok.
On the journey, ashlynn happily entertained by 2 boxes of eclipse.
Stopover for lunch. She is still groggy from her nap.
Look at her pong tao!
We finally reached the hotel. Daddy was doing the check-in so we hanged around to take pictures at the lobbby.
Ashlynn trying out the bed.
Then she tried out the cot. (signature look)
It was super warm at KLCC. Our girl was so uncomfortable seated in her stroller.
Grumpy girl.
Signature look. Super dao face.
Kenna forced to strike a pose with the lovely bears.
Signature look
At Pavilion
On our way back to the hotel, we saw these interesting characters on the street.
She was badly constipated on the first day. Look at her pitiful expression. She even cried. After we fed her kiwi, she was fine on the second day onwards. Didn't know kiwi can ease constipation.
