Last night we dashed down to Pasir Ris NTUC to get bb's Healthy Times cereal as apparently she is rejecting all other cereals. I tried to feed her Nestle Gold series, Nestle rice cereal, Dumex carrot with rice cereal and all were rejected. Even with the addition of her favourite pumpkin.
After getting the cereal, we had a late dinner (almost 9pm! I am growing fatter by the day if this continues!!) at the foodcourt. As usual, we tried to get ashlynn to drink from the straw in our drinks as practice. Daddy was having his cola and for the first time we saw the blackish liquid travelled up the straw!! We tried a few times and it was confirmed. She finally mastered the skill of drinking from a straw. Of course she didn't get to drink the cola as the straw was too long for her.
This morning we took a straw and cut it shorter. Yes, she managed to drink her water from it. She found it interesting and keep wanting more. But our mischievous princess suck and spit out. She loves to spit water out. Later I am going to upgrade her magmug sprout to the straw.
It is really fun and satisfying to see our babies grow and progress everyday. As to whether I still want to be a SAHM, I will think twice after taking care of her full time during my holidays.
