As the big day approaches, daddy and mummy start to get anxious as there are a lot of things we have yet to get ready, not like during Ashlynn's time, when we finish our preparation so early that we had nothing to do near the due date.
I went for my checkup last thursday. Baby A is 2.8kg at 36 weeks plus. Hope that he can plump up a bit more to hit 3kg before he pops out. Was told by gynae that he is engaged, but most likely will not be due on my 37th week, unless I walk excessively. My ML will start on my 38th week. I hope to take a short break before he arrives.
Back to what we are busy with. Over the weeks, we were slowly washing the baby stuffs. Some handovers from Ashlynn and some new ones. This week, we will wash the bulkier items like infant car seat cover, breastfeeding pillow cover, rocker cover, etc. I will also start washing the milk bottles, teats, breastpump parts and put them aside. Daddy has converted Ashlynn's toddler bed back to the infant cot since Ashlynn was not sleeping on it.
My hospital bag is almost packed. I have just bought the present for Ashlynn and kept it in the bag. Hope she will like it.
I also have not mentioned this. Granny and Grandpa will be shifiting in, so we will be making major shifting of furniture and stuffs. But we can't do it now as I am pregnant. We will only start the shifting when Baby A comes out to see the world.
A lot of adaptations for all of us to make. Hope everything turns out fine.
