1) Finally shortlisted the childcare centre for Ashlynn. We will be sending her to Elfa after much deliberation. Hopefully the care given is worth the high price we are going to pay for.
2) Ashlynn is speaking much more these days. We can communicate with her quite well and I think I enjoy this phase most since she was born. Over the weekend, I tried tying french plaits for her. Her hair is still quite short and very soft, so quite hard to neaten the plaits. But I'm pleased with this trial. Hopefully by CNY I can do it nicely.

3) I am getting lazier in cooking for her so these days we usually eat out. I tried giving her Jap food, yong tau foo with yellow noodles and Crystal Jade la mien with pork cutlet. I know it's not that healthy due to the sodium content etc. but once in awhile should be ok la.
4) Went for my detailed scan today. Everything was well except that the dunno what (medical term about the drainage of urine) seems prominent at 4.5mm instead of 4mm. Dr Wong says that she dismisses it as a problem and it is not much of a concern unless it gets as big as 6 to 8mm. It only happens in boys apparently. Also, the sonographers commented that the baby is hyperactive. Very hard for them to do the scanning as he kept moving non-stop. Dr Wong says it's a good sign and assured me that this has no link to ADHD when I raised my concern to her. Another concern from me was the baby is most likely going to be petite like Ashlynn. Told Dr Wong to project his birth weight. She estimated 2.9 to 3kg. Same as Ashlynn. Sigh... Was hoping the baby to hit 3+kg. Dr Wong said there will be a chance provided I put on more weight, at least 3 kg at the next visit. Although I have been putting on weight, it seems like my babies are simply genetically on the smaller side.
That's all for the updates for today!
