So Long 31 Oct '09

It has been so long since I last posted. I am either too sick, too tired or too busy to post. Daddy has been very busy too. So much so that Ashlynn and I are seeing so little of him.

I just realise I have yet to create the 20th month folder for Ashlynn's photos in my notebook. To think that she is already 2 weeks pass her 20th month. Managed to snap two pictures of her today as she brought the camera to me and posed for me.

Ashlynn's Ordeal 14 Oct '09

It all started on Wed night when she vomitted once at Granny's place. Thinking that it must be the indigested bak kwa, we dissmissed it off thinking that she will be fine. We brought her to Han's for dinner and gave her some honeydew and a bit of hashbrown.

During her night feed, she suddenly merlioned all over our bed and it scared the wits out of daddy as it was an awful sight. The vomit was coming out even from her nose as she was lying down. We could tell that she was very frightened and uncomfortable. This continued for another 4-5 times.

The next day, Granny said that she was fine already. However, during the night she vomitted twice again. And she had slight fever. We decided to bring her to the doc on Fri. Both daddy and I took the afternoon off. By then, she looked so tired and had totally lost her appetite. Dr Ong diagnosed it as stomach flu and said that it should subside by weekend.

Ashlynn Attends Solemnisation 10 Oct '09

We attended Gerald and Jeslyn's solemnisation on Saturday at Amara Hotel. Ashlynn had a fun time running around with the other children. I think she really love the feel of running on the carpeted ground.

I asked her if the bride was "mei", she agreed by replying "mei" after giving it some serious thoughts.
We managed to get her to look at the camera, but the pic was slightly blurred.
Then she lost interest and looked away.

This was a pic taken some time back. She looked like a sum seng por the way she was standing.

Happy 4th Year Anniversary 02 Oct '09

Daddy and I are married for 4 years. We had our celebration yesterday. As usual, he was very sweet and all. First surprise, flowers was delivered to my workplace 0n 01 Oct '09, which was the actual ROM date. He brought me to a nice fine dining place at the National Museum. After dinner, we were supposed to go for a movie, but because granny is not feeling well, we decided to cut short our celebration to pick Ashlynn up.

When we reached home, I was again surprised by a Kate Spade bag on my chair. He had secretly contacted the spree organiser whom I made enquiry with on the bag I liked. I was very touched.
Erm, but I didn't buy anything for daddy. I also didn't prepare anything for this occasion. Feel so bad.

At the restaurant

We each had a seafood soup
Daddy's pasta
Mummy's salmon
Ashlynn kept insisting to carry the bag. And kept saying "mei". This morning when she saw the bag, she said "mei" again.
