It started as an unpleasant day for all of us as Ashlynn refused to finish her brekkie, kept spitting out her cereal and dirtying her gai gai clothes. We were going to bring her for her 2nd peumoccocal jab at Dr Ong's. In the end, bad-tempered mummy gave her a huge scolding and spanking. Daddy kenna scolding too. Ashlynn cried so pitifully until the mucous also flowed out from her nose. Lucky she still wanted me to carry after her crying episode.
Our mood improved tremendously once we got on the car as we started chatting and getting her to identify objects. We shopped around while waiting for her turn. She cried abit during the jab, but definitely much better than when she was taking her MMR jab. Dr Ong asked how many teeth she had and I told him 16. He said "wow! 4 more to go". At the clinic, Ashlynn also played with 2 jie jies. They did not understand what Ashlynn was saying and even asked her "can you speak english?" haha... It was very comical to see how kids play and interact. They were also curious why Ashlynn had to see the doctor and kept asking Dr Ong what was wrong with Ashlynn.
After the jab, we went to the foodcourt to have our lunch. Lucky she was still quite cooperative in taking her porridge compared to the past few days. Today I added thinly sliced long beans for a change. After we all had our fill, we proceeded to our planned destination - Marina Barrage. She fell asleep on the car after missing her morning nap. When we got there, she was still sleeping. So daddy and I went around to take pictures. We were planning to let her play at the water playground there but it turned out to be more like a water feature rather than waterplay. So we decided to give it a miss. We found out that she woke up when we saw that her eyes were opened through her reflection in the lift. We went to explore the gallery which was quite an eye-opener. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Daddy was very proud as he was the one who suggested going there. Many times I rejected the place as I thought it was boring. I wanted to go there because I thought Ashlynn could play with water. Turned out it was an interesting place even without playing at the water playground.
How I wish we have more time to go for outings like this.
Vainpot mummy

Haha... She was still sleeping while we took this family shot.

Big-head shot

Scary pic

She simply refused to look into the camera.

Kenna forced by daddy to be kissed. Look at her sad face.

Angry look

Prefers mummy? Look, she's smiling!

Exploring the place.

haha... Not-so-happy-look again.

Curious girl

She likes to go "Waaahhhh!" whenever something catches her attention.

Very amazed by what she saw.

Kenna forced to do the "act cute" pose.

Still not looking at the camera. Sigh...

The following pics were taken for fun at the gallery.
