Laundry Time 2!

Today daddy and mummy did the second round of washing. This time round we washed all the towels, blankets, bibs, mittens and booties and more clothes.

See, this time there are more colours!

We also bought a ear thermometer from Unity Pharmacy as we happen to see that it is on offer.

Laundry Time!

Daddy woke mummy up so early today. Guess what? To wash baby Ashlynn's clothes. Never seen daddy so enthusiastic in doing housework ever before since we started staying in this flat in 2005. Guess daddy must be really looking forward to Ashlynn's arrival... He even dreamt of him and mummy playing with Ashlynn last night!

We didn't manage to put all the clothes into the washing machine as there are just too many. Plus washing the 20 nappies already took up 4 out of 5 of our bamboo poles.

Haha... Ashlynn's wardrobe looks like it only consist of white and pink. Opps! Don't worry Ashlynn, there are other colours yet to be washed.

Happy Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Daddy! This year is just the 2 of us celebrating. Next year we will have little Ashlynn celebrating with us. Looking forward to that. How about you?

Early Birthday Celebration

Tomorrow is daddy's birthday. Today will be celebrating his birthday in advance with grandparents. We went to daddy's favourite restaurant Ichiban Boshi at Esplanade. Mummy bought a sinful-looking chocolate cake for daddy from Choz. The salesgirl was telling us how delicious it was.

We cut cake at grandparents' place. Look at how fat, haggard and ugly mummy looked in the photo. Mummy wants to be slim and pretty again...

Today mummy feels kinda sad. Mummy feels neglected. Thought preggies are supposed to be treated like queen. But told daddy i wanna eat egg tart, he treated it like a joke. Haiz... And many other small small issues lah. Maybe it just the preggie hormones... Nevertheless, mummy loves Ashlynn a lot and have never regretted having you. To mummy, you are really a blessing :)

Just got vouchers for metro so thinking of using that to buy the analogue phillips avent baby monitor for ashlynn....
Went to Metro Paragon, couldn't find...

Went to Avent Website, couldn't find...
Alamak.... is the baby monitor discontinued??

BUT still managed to buy things for Ashlynn yesterday :)

Also Pooh & Piglet foot/hand Rattle and some hangers for Ashlynn's new wadrobe

Shopping Day!

Thank you Daddy for assembling the ikea wardrobe which we bought for our darling Ashlynn. Because we were quite pantang, Mummy decided to leave the house while Daddy is doing all the hammering and screwing. ermm.. what a word to describe ;pWhile hardworking Daddy is sweating away, vain Mummy went for her session of mani and pedicure. Mummy was allowed to return home after Daddy finished with the wardrobe.We packed in some of Ashlynn's stuff. Here are pics of Daddy's hard work.

Also got my new phone N95 today. Only paid $78 coz hubby had a voucher plus I trade in my N72. Best buy!

Monthly Checkup

Just went for my monthly checkup today. Ashlynn is currently in her 31st week. As Mummy was advised to eat more in the last checkup, I put on 2.5kg in 3 weeks!! Ashlynn only gained about 500g and she weighs 1.5kg now. Dr Wong said that she is on the petite side and most likely will not hit 3kg at birth. Mummy will continue to eat to make sure Ashlynn can grow as much as possible before she comes into this world.

I hope that Ashlynn will not be too anxious and pop out too early as she needs to absorb more nutrients from Mummy first.

Birthday Present for Daddy

Went to LV at Takashimaya today to get a pair of matching wallets for Daddy and myself. Can't wait till Daddy's birthday to give him so decided to give it to him at night. Daddy, I will get you a matching key pouch for the next special occasion ok?

Scary Lunch Incident

I attempted to cook some porridge for lunch. Threw in some cauliflower, carrot and minced meat. Being a lousy cook, I did not add enough water and the porridge didn't turn out to be that delicious. What was worse was I stood so near the stove and my growing belly seemed to be scalded. I flipped up my top and to my astonishment, my tummy was so warm and red. For a while, I panicked. I started to worry if the heat was too much for Little Ashlynn. After that episode, Ashlynn seemed to be inactive, not like her usual self. I tried to make her move, but her movements were limited.

Later in the night, she did stirred quite a bit, but Daddy and Mummy are still worried. Daddy says if anything happens to Ashlynn, then it will be Mummy's fault. Sob...

Finally got a blog started for Ashlynn, put up a to buy list to remind us of what to buy and what we have bought so far...... things has just got started so it will be some what empty now.... dun worry Ashlynn, Daddy and Mummy will add in more content and details soon....
