Ashlynn's Room

Daddy and I decided to add some decor to Ashlynn's room. Quite satisfied with how the room looked like after adding the stickers. Daddy commented that the room looks more like a nursery room now. However, the roll of sticker was not enough to go round the entire room. Guess we have to make another trip to Causeway Point to buy.

Ashlynn at 35 Weeks 5 Days

Went to the gynae for ashlynn's fornightly checkup today. Daddy and mummy are pleased to hear from Dr Wong that Ashlynn has grown about 0.5kg although mummy lost 0.4kg over the last 3 weeks. She is now about 2.4kg. Considered medium size. Ashlynn is now in the head down position and unlikely to turn over already. Most likely can go for natural birth.

Next checkup is two weeks later on 01 Feb.

New Year, new items

Happy Belated New Year!!!

Just finish our anenatal class on 12th Jan... still many questions on our head and also..."dun let history repeats itself...." hee... just a private joke :P

A new year so again we bought new things for Ashlynn :D

so now Ashlynn have 2 transportation :P

Mummy's bag are almost packed.... items are more or less purchased liao......
so waiting for Feb to come....

but first and foremost on 19th Jan,cos that's our appt with our gynae and of cos that's where we see our darling... :D

Laundry Time 2!

Today daddy and mummy did the second round of washing. This time round we washed all the towels, blankets, bibs, mittens and booties and more clothes.

See, this time there are more colours!

We also bought a ear thermometer from Unity Pharmacy as we happen to see that it is on offer.

Laundry Time!

Daddy woke mummy up so early today. Guess what? To wash baby Ashlynn's clothes. Never seen daddy so enthusiastic in doing housework ever before since we started staying in this flat in 2005. Guess daddy must be really looking forward to Ashlynn's arrival... He even dreamt of him and mummy playing with Ashlynn last night!

We didn't manage to put all the clothes into the washing machine as there are just too many. Plus washing the 20 nappies already took up 4 out of 5 of our bamboo poles.

Haha... Ashlynn's wardrobe looks like it only consist of white and pink. Opps! Don't worry Ashlynn, there are other colours yet to be washed.

Happy Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Daddy! This year is just the 2 of us celebrating. Next year we will have little Ashlynn celebrating with us. Looking forward to that. How about you?

Early Birthday Celebration

Tomorrow is daddy's birthday. Today will be celebrating his birthday in advance with grandparents. We went to daddy's favourite restaurant Ichiban Boshi at Esplanade. Mummy bought a sinful-looking chocolate cake for daddy from Choz. The salesgirl was telling us how delicious it was.

We cut cake at grandparents' place. Look at how fat, haggard and ugly mummy looked in the photo. Mummy wants to be slim and pretty again...

Today mummy feels kinda sad. Mummy feels neglected. Thought preggies are supposed to be treated like queen. But told daddy i wanna eat egg tart, he treated it like a joke. Haiz... And many other small small issues lah. Maybe it just the preggie hormones... Nevertheless, mummy loves Ashlynn a lot and have never regretted having you. To mummy, you are really a blessing :)
