Ashlynn Attends Solemnisation 10 Oct '09

We attended Gerald and Jeslyn's solemnisation on Saturday at Amara Hotel. Ashlynn had a fun time running around with the other children. I think she really love the feel of running on the carpeted ground.

I asked her if the bride was "mei", she agreed by replying "mei" after giving it some serious thoughts.
We managed to get her to look at the camera, but the pic was slightly blurred.
Then she lost interest and looked away.

This was a pic taken some time back. She looked like a sum seng por the way she was standing.

Happy 4th Year Anniversary 02 Oct '09

Daddy and I are married for 4 years. We had our celebration yesterday. As usual, he was very sweet and all. First surprise, flowers was delivered to my workplace 0n 01 Oct '09, which was the actual ROM date. He brought me to a nice fine dining place at the National Museum. After dinner, we were supposed to go for a movie, but because granny is not feeling well, we decided to cut short our celebration to pick Ashlynn up.

When we reached home, I was again surprised by a Kate Spade bag on my chair. He had secretly contacted the spree organiser whom I made enquiry with on the bag I liked. I was very touched.
Erm, but I didn't buy anything for daddy. I also didn't prepare anything for this occasion. Feel so bad.

At the restaurant

We each had a seafood soup
Daddy's pasta
Mummy's salmon
Ashlynn kept insisting to carry the bag. And kept saying "mei". This morning when she saw the bag, she said "mei" again.

Our Saturday 19 Sep '09

Nothing much happened except that she finished almost double the serving of mee suah for lunch compared to the previous two times which I cooked and didn't spit any out.

Her usual porridge for dinner was disastraous though. She was very cranky and refused to finish up. Dunno is it because she just woke up from her nap. I hope so.

This pic was taken when she just woke up. I thought she looks cheery so decided to feed her. Didn't expect her to turn to a little terror. Even her favourite videos from my hp and Dora movie from daddy's hp couldn't pacify her. We almost end up not having dinner as she has spoilt my mood.

Taken before we left the house

Taken in the morning. She loved sitting on our chair. She can climb up on her own.
Daddy pushed her around to entertain her.

It was the 2nd last of her LNT lesson. We have decided not to sign up due to other commitment.
So we are not tied down by lessons soon. Caoz every saturday we have to plan our activities to fit the schedule and I always feel a little stress over this. Daddy is always very disgusted with me as I feel stress over the most trivial things. haha...
Not to forget, we bought bubbles for her from Toy'r'us and she loved it when we brought her to play at the open plaza at Tampines Mall. She went wild until there was a point she almost dropped into the water feature (if that is what it's called). My heart almost stopped. Luckily she heard my deafening scream and stopped before she fell into the water. phew. We learnt a lesson to be careful and be near her in future.

Painful? 13 Sep '09

Just as we were drying and changing her before we left JB Children's Garden, we found patches of abrasion on her legs. She seemed ok when we showered her, so we left the injuries alone. Poor girl! Injury after injury. First the eye, now the legs. We must be more careful when taking care of her in future.
